Before the course
Pre-course work is an integral part of the program and forms part of the course. To ensure you get the most out of the program please undertake the following tasks:

After 2 weeks
Now that you’re back in the demands of day-to-day work, take time to revisit your action plan and your manual.
In particular you might want to review some of the key concepts from the course:
Think clearly about your document’s purpose, outcomes and readers before starting to write.
Use Plain English to keep your writing concise and easy to understand.
Use a personal and positive tone.
Use headings, white space and bullet points to guide readers through a document.
Use the ABC model while editing to check your document is Accurate, Brief and Clear.

After 4 weeks
The following activities will support you in your goal to be effective in your business writing:
Ask for some feedback from at least 2 colleagues on how your writing has changed since attending the course.
Which of the key concepts from the course have you found most useful back at work?
Commit to an action plan to continue to develop your writing skills.
