Australia Post and Purple Learning, a TP3 company, are proud recipients of the eLearning Excellence Award, Enterprise Sector, announced November 14 by the eLearning Industry Association of Victoria.

The award follows Purple Learning’s successes in 2012 when it received two eLearning Excellence Awards from the Association, and was also a finalist in the UK eLearning Age Awards for eLearning Development Company of the Year.

The latest award recognises Purple Learning’s approach to designing and developing a program to provide Australia Post’s awards-based employees the opportunity to play an active role in their own career development with skills and knowledge delivered via eLearning.

The content that formed the basis of the eLearning — covering four areas of career development: My Career, My Resume, My Interview Preparation and My Interview — was provided by Australia Post and adapted by Purple Learning’s team from material previously delivered in face-to-face workshops by Australia Post facilitators.

In accepting the 2013 award, TP3’s Head of Digital Learning and founder of Purple Learning, Craig Simon, said, “This is well-deserved acknowledgement of our digital learning team and their ability to deliver a brief in exciting new ways—and our belief that creativity can improve productivity and performance.

“Purple Learning is fortunate to have clients such as Australia Post who are willing to think differently about engaging learners and changing behaviour,” he said.

In presenting the the 2013 award, the judges comments were, “This project demonstrates a great use of technology with clean and simple navigation. The course is clear and easy to follow, which cuts the balance between content and interactivity. Completing the workbook gives an excellent sense of having learned. A very successful product”.

Well done team!
