Getting to know the ACSF
You will become familiar with the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) and determine your own core language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills.
Identify core LLN requirements of training benchmarks
You will analyse a unit of competency against the ACSF to determine the LLN skill level required within the unit.
Complete a core LLN skills assessment
You will carry out a core LLN skills assessment on a learner.
Analyse your training techniques
You will analyse your training techniques and determine which LLN skills are required of your participants.
Consult an LLN specialist
You will reflect on a scenario and determine support an individual may need and where you would find the appropriate LLN support.
You will evaluate learning methods you can use, or may have used to review the success of a learning program.
Analyse your training delivery
You will reflect on your training delivery and assess the level of LLN support involved.
